Mini First Aid for Infants and Children
Since 2023, Anna has delivered her bespoke baby and child first aid course to hundreds of parents and caregivers wanting to learn what to do when illness or injury occurs. Her warm and approachable manner encourages interaction and questions throughout her course sessions which can be delivered in the comfort of your own home in Auckland. No babysitters required! Your little ones are welcome to join.
The 2-2.5 hour course covers:
Infant and child CPR - including AED (defibrillator) training
Choking first aid
Burns
Head Injuries
Allergies, Anaphylaxis & Epipens
Fevers and Febrile Seizures
Assessment and Management of an Unwell Baby/Child
Poisons and Safety in the Home
You will also receive:
Mini fact sheet with detailed information you have learned in the course
Magnetic medication record
Magnet with New Zealand emergency contact numbers, when you need help or questions answered anytime of the day or night
Cost: $85 per person with additional mileage fees if required.
Numbers: Minimum 4 people, maximum 12 people per course session.
SafeStart Families Online Course
Anna (ExpressMed), a Registered Nurse and mum, and Sam (Response Rise), an ex-Police Officer and dad, have come together to create a comprehensive workshop for parents and caregivers. Combining infant and child first aid with practical protective training for families, this course will leave you feeling prepped and prepared for anything.
